A devastating accident on Sunday in Bihar's East Champaran district resulted in the deaths of five individuals and injuries to several others. The mishap occurred on NH27 near the Kotwa police station in Motihari when a speeding truck slammed into a service lane filled with waiting vehicles.
According to DSP (Sadar 1) Dilip Kumar, the truck caused massive destruction after entering the service lane where multiple motorcycles and an auto-rickshaw were parked. Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene. The bodies of the deceased have been dispatched for post-mortem examination.
