Air India has forged a new interline partnership with the Maldivian national carrier, Maldivian, the airline announced on Friday. This strategic collaboration will enhance travel connectivity between India and the Maldives.

Through this partnership, Air India passengers will now have the opportunity to reach 16 picturesque islands in the Maldives, via the Maldivian capital, Male. Key islands accessible include Hanimaadhoo, Kooddoo, and Gan, among others.

Moreover, the partnership will enable Maldivian to expand its connectivity for passengers traveling from the major Indian cities of Delhi and Mumbai. Travelers will have streamlined access through Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram to Male and Hanimaadhoo Island, offering a seamless travel experience.
