On the fourth day of his official visit to Japan, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann conducted a roadshow in Osaka, attracting significant attention from leading Japanese corporations interested in investing in Punjab, according to an official statement released on Friday.
Addressing the gathered audience, Mann noted the strong institutional support for Indo-Japanese economic relations and highlighted the growing international investor interest in Punjab's progressive industrial policies and investment-ready opportunities. Mann expressed confidence in creating new opportunities for youth and fostering a reliable environment for investors.
The Chief Minister emphasized Punjab's strategic advantages, including its connectivity, industrial clusters, and policy ecosystem. Further engagements in Osaka included high-level meetings with industrial leaders and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry to discuss collaborations in trade, technology, and SME initiatives. This visit is a prelude to the upcoming Progressive Punjab Investors' Summit in March 2026.
