Four people were tragically killed in different road accidents in Jharkhand on Saturday, according to police reports. In Simdega district, a collision between a motorcycle and a container truck resulted in the death of two riders, with the impact dragging the motorcycle along for 20 meters. Both victims hailed from the Kolebira area, and their bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital.

Another fatal incident occurred at the Ghaghra-Gumla border in Gumla district. A motorcycle with two riders was hit by a bus, leading to one fatality. The injured were initially taken to CHC Ghaghra, later referred to Sadar Hospital, but one succumbed to injuries during the transfer, confirmed Punit Minj, the officer in charge of Ghaghra police station.

In Latehar district, 40-year-old truck driver Umashankar Sahay from Nawada, Bihar, died after a tire burst inflicted severe injuries. The incident took place near the Bhusar River on the Ranchi-Chatra road. Inspector Randheer Kumar stated that Sahay's body has been sent for post-mortem at Sadar Hospital, Latehar.
