IndiGo's Turbulent Week: Navigating Flight Cancellations and Disruption

IndiGo, under the helm of Rahul Bhatia, is grappling with extensive flight cancellations, affecting thousands of passengers across six major metro airports in India.

On Monday alone, the airline was forced to cancel 562 flights, significantly impacting Bengaluru, which accounted for 150 cancellations. Improved regulatory adjustments had an adverse effect on the carrier's operations, leaving many passengers frustrated.

Despite these hurdles, IndiGo managed to enhance its on-time performance to 79.9 per cent. However, the disruptions challenge the airline's resilience as it continues to manage operations across 90 domestic and over 40 international airports.
