Tragic Collision: Road Accident Claims Life in Sonbhadra
A road accident in Sonbhadra district led to the death of a 65-year-old man and injured 11 others. A tractor-trolley carrying mourners collided with a trailer truck on the Varanasi-Shaktinagar road. The deceased, Kharpattu, was confirmed dead at the hospital, while others are being treated.

A fatal accident occurred in Sonbhadra district when a tractor-trolley carrying mourners collided with a trailer truck on the Varanasi-Shaktinagar road. According to police reports, the tragic incident left one person dead and 11 others injured.
The collision took place near the Chandi Hotel crossing in the Robertsganj police station area. The tractor-trolley, which was carrying around 20 people and a body for cremation, hit a trailer truck coming from the opposite direction, said Station House Officer Madhav Singh.
The injured were promptly taken to Lodhi Medical College, where doctors declared Kharpattu, a resident of Majhigaon, dead on arrival. Other injured individuals are receiving treatment. The trailer truck involved in the accident has been seized and the road traffic has since been restored.
