In a tragic incident in Odisha's Keonjhar district, a deadly accident claimed three lives and critically injured two others in a head-on collision involving a motorcycle and a scooter.

The crash took place on Friday evening on the Chandapasi-Pandapada Road near Sarupata. The deceased have been identified as Dushasana Barik, aged 40, from Asanabahali village, and Laxman Senapati and Manoj Kumar Dalei, both from Balabhadrapur.

At present, the injured, Raja Nayak from Balabhadrapur and Rahul Nayak from Asanabahali village, are undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital. Police have seized the two-wheelers and commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
