Andhra Pradesh's IT landscape faces challenges as Minister Nara Lokesh raises alarm over Public Interest Litigations targeting significant IT Park projects. Companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, and Raheja Corp, faces legal hurdles, jeopardizing potential employment for over 100,000 youths.
Lokesh accused the YSRCP of filing these PILs, seeing it as a move against the state's youth future. However, YSRCP's legal representative, Manohar Reddy, dismissed these claims, asserting the party's non-involvement.
The government seeks to foster investment through policies like the LIFT 4.0 initiative, offering land at subsidized rates. Such measures aim to counterbalance setbacks from the bifurcation of the state and Hyderabad's loss, urging economic growth through new development centers.
