In a significant move towards sustainable consumption, Selsmart, a leading recycling platform from Attero, has joined forces with Havells India's consumer brand, Lloyd, to unveil the 'Lloyd Eco Exchange Program'. This initiative is designed to promote the responsible upgrading of old appliances, offering a simple and transparent exchange process with tangible benefits for consumers.
The program allows customers to trade in old appliances of any brand for attractive incentives on new Lloyd purchases. Currently operational in select Havells and Lloyd stores, the initiative is poised to expand across Selsmart's operational territories in India. It marks a step forward in enhancing consumer access to eco-friendly options and integrating sustainability into mainstream purchases.
Through the collaboration, consumers can exchange used appliances, receive immediate valuations, and apply these towards the purchase of new Lloyd air conditioners, refrigerators, and more. This effort aims to encourage responsible recycling, minimizing e-waste landfill contributions by leveraging Attero's advanced recycling technology. Nitin Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO of Attero, emphasized the dual mission of economic value and sustainability in making e-cycling accessible to a national audience.
