Tourist Bus Mishap Near Vizhinjam: 17 Injured in Thrissur

A total of 17 people, including students and teachers from a college in Kodakara, Thrissur, were injured when their tourist bus overturned near Navaikulam on Saturday.

The bus was on an industrial visit to Vizhinjam port when it lost control on the National Highway, crashed into a house, and overturned. Fortunately, the residents of the house were unharmed, but the accident resulted in several passengers being injured.

Immediate rescue efforts by locals ensured the wounded were swiftly taken to Parippally hospital, with one individual requiring further treatment in Kollam. Authorities have begun an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage to determine the accident's cause.
