VIP Industries Ltd board appoints Sudip Ghose as new MD

The VIP Industries Ltd board today approved the appointment of Mr. Sudip Ghose as the Company’s new Managing Director with effect from April 1, 2019. Mr. Ghose is currently the CEO of VIP Industries Ltd. Mr. Dilip Piramal is the Chairman of the Company. Ms. Radhika Piramal is the Vice Chairperson of the Company.
Announcing the appointment, VIP industries Ltd Vice Chairperson, Ms. Radhika Piramal said: “During the last few years, Sudip has been instrumental in driving the growth for the company. He has successfully built brands like Skybags, Aristocrat and steered the company on the path of sustainable growth. Sudip joined the organization as head of marketing in 2013 and in the last 6 years has made invaluable contribution in various capacities including sales and marketing. I am confident that under his leadership, the company will continue to grow.”
Mr. Ghose, was also appointed as an Additional Director of the Company with effect from Feb 08, 2019, will work as CEO till March 31, 2019, Consequently Mr. Ghose shall assume charge of Managing Director from April 1, 2019. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Sudip Ghose, has worked with Samsonite South Asia Pvt. Ltd, Onida, Whirlpool India, Reliance and Bausch & Lomb. He has over two decades of experience in Sales and marketing with expertise in strategic planning, integrated brand marketing, consumer behavior and insights. He is 46 years old and is an Executive Management Graduate from NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, and has attended Clarion College of Communications for his Post Graduate Diploma studies.
