In a tragic incident near Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, four individuals, including a CRPF jawan, lost their lives in a vehicular accident on Tuesday.

The mishap took place at approximately 11 am on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway near Jakhani-Chenani. The accident involved a bus, a motorcycle, and a road carrier, officials confirmed.

According to reports, the driver of the bus, traveling from Doda to Jammu, lost control and first hit a motorcycle before crashing into a parked load carrier. The carrier was undergoing repairs at the time. The mechanic and load carrier driver died instantly, while two bus passengers were ejected and succumbed to their injuries en route to the hospital.
