Breaking Barriers: Inauguration of Women's Industrial Park in Karnataka

FLO Bangalore inaugurated a women-led industrial park in Gowribidanur, Karnataka. This initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs by providing access to manufacturing and large-scale industry. The 50-acre park is supported by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board and aims to decentralise industrial growth and generate local employment.

In a pioneering move, FLO Bangalore launched a women-led industrial park in Gowribidanur, Karnataka, on Tuesday. This unprecedented initiative aims to pave the way for women entrepreneurs to make their mark in manufacturing and large-scale industries.

The newly inaugurated park spans 50 acres and stands as a testament to public-private collaboration. With the support of the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board and Karnataka Udyog Mitra, the park seeks to dismantle structural barriers that have long hindered first-generation women entrepreneurs.

Revathi Raju, Head of the Industrial Park, emphasized the project's potential to transform aspirations into reality. Echoing this sentiment, Gunjan Krishna from the Department of Industries and Commerce lauded the park as a model for inclusive and decentralised industrial growth in Karnataka.
