Realty firm WeWork India Management Ltd has launched a new co-working center in Gurugram, responding to the escalating demand for flexible workspaces. The 'WeWork Atrium Place' spans more than 90,000 square feet and features a seating capacity of over 1,200.
This expansion in Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, taps into spaces leased from real estate giant DLF, allowing WeWork India to offer sub-leasing options to corporates. Since its inception in 2017, WeWork India has firmly established itself as a leading premium flexible workspace operator, currently encompassing 73 centers across eight cities.
The trend aligns with data from Colliers India, which indicates that co-working spaces accounted for 13 million square feet of leased Grade A office space in 2025, a slight increase from the previous year. This sector now represents 18% of total gross office leasing in seven major Indian cities.
