Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasized India's strategic advantage as a base for global supply chains amid global geopolitical shifts. Speaking at the XSIO Advanced Industrial Park ceremony in Nagpur, he highlighted how innovation and automation are transforming manufacturing.
Fadnavis noted the increasing role of AI in reshaping the manufacturing sector, describing it as the new mantra of the era. He pointed out that India, now the world's fourth-largest economy, is poised to climb higher, thanks in part to these advancements.
Referencing geopolitical tensions like the Iran crisis, Fadnavis asserted that India's democratic framework makes it a dependable anchor for global supply chains. He linked this potential to Prime Minister Modi's Viksit Bharat vision, suggesting that new industrial hubs with 'plug and play' capabilities are crucial for attracting global capital.
