Muscat Airport Denies Restricting Private Jet Flights Amid Regional Crisis

Muscat International Airport clarified on Monday that it did not issue a directive asking private jet operators to limit flights to prioritize governmental and commercial flights.

Reportedly, a message circulated among charter executives, featuring the Oman Airport logo, requested airlines cancel off-schedule slots. Muscat Airport, however, assured continued support for private jets and business aviation, dismissing the message as unauthorized.

The need for clarification arose amidst the chaos following the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against Iran, leading to widespread flight cancellations across the Middle East. Closed regional airspace has pushed travelers to seek private jets, despite soaring prices.
