Domestic carrier Akasa Air has struck a significant partnership with Noida International Airport to set up an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
This venture marks Akasa Air's inaugural MRO facility since its inception in August 2022. Aimed at bolstering India's aviation infrastructure, the facility is set to enhance operational efficiency while generating local employment and skills development opportunities.
