Akasa Air Partners with Noida International Airport for MRO Facility Boost

Akasa Air has teamed up with Noida International Airport to establish its first MRO facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. This collaboration aims to enhance India's aviation infrastructure, create job opportunities, and elevate operational efficiency, thus promoting a self-reliant aviation ecosystem as the market expands.

Domestic carrier Akasa Air has struck a significant partnership with Noida International Airport to set up an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.

This venture marks Akasa Air's inaugural MRO facility since its inception in August 2022. Aimed at bolstering India's aviation infrastructure, the facility is set to enhance operational efficiency while generating local employment and skills development opportunities.

The move is seen as advancing India's self-reliant footing in aviation maintenance, fostering innovation, and supporting long-term industry growth. With the aviation market expanding rapidly, such capabilities are critical for scalable, reliable airline operations.
