Helicopter Crash Landing in Nepal: A Close Call
A helicopter from a private airline crash-landed in Nepal's Khotang district, resulting in one person critically injured and five others with minor injuries. All six individuals onboard, including the pilot, were rescued and transported to Kathmandu for medical attention.

In a dramatic incident, a private airline's helicopter crash-landed in Nepal on Wednesday, leaving one person critically injured. The helicopter, operated by Air Dynasty, encountered difficulties while landing at Balbesi in Khotang district.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the helicopter lost balance mid-landing around 11:55 a.m. The aircraft was carrying six people, including the pilot, at the time of the crash.
Emergency services swiftly rescued and airlifted all passengers to Kathmandu. A particularly concerning case involved a 74-year-old passenger who sustained injuries to his leg and eye, requiring admission to Hams Hospital. Fortunately, the remaining five individuals only suffered minor injuries.
