Alkem Laboratories Doubles Investment for Ujjain Facility
Alkem Laboratories Ltd has announced an increase in investment to up to Rs 1,036 crore for a new manufacturing facility in Ujjain. Initially set at Rs 533 crore, this decision follows the allocation of 30 acres in Ujjain by DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Ltd.

Alkem Laboratories Ltd has revealed plans to double its investment in a greenfield manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, bringing the total to Rs 1,036 crore.
The decision was approved by the board on April 2, marking a significant increase from the initially proposed Rs 533 crore dedicated to the project's phased development.
In March, the company secured 30 acres in Ujjain from DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Ltd, solidifying the framework for the site, which will enhance its manufacturing capabilities.
