Lalitpur Pharma Park Set to Become Global Export Hub

The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) have inked an agreement aiming to establish the Lalitpur Pharma Park as a pivotal global export hub, according to recent announcements. The MoU was signed by UPSIDA CEO Vijay Kiran Anand and JNPA Chairman Gaurav Dayal tool position northern India's industrial regions strategically in the international market.

Key to this expansive vision is the integration with international maritime trade routes. This, officials noted, marks a significant leap towards internationalizing the Lalitpur Pharma Park, making it a center for pharmaceutical exports. Integral to this endeavor is a collaboration that underscores Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's goal of fortifying the state's standing in global healthcare and pharma manufacturing.

Through strategic use of the Dadri-Khurja rail link, the park will access the Western and Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridors. The newly established multi-modal network will expedite the secure, cost-effective transportation of pharmaceuticals to JNPA, expected to significantly enhance export-import operations. This initiative solidifies UPSIDA's commitment to economic growth via the development of specialized industrial clusters.
