The Gujarat Chambers of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) launched its annual trade expo in Gandhinagar, sprawling over 18,000 square meters and running from April 16 to 18. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the event, underscoring the expo's potential to boost sectors such as automobiles, renewable energy, IT, and pharmaceuticals.
Themed 'Gujarat Vision - Global Ambition,' the exposition aims to serve as a critical platform for MSMEs and young entrepreneurs. Patel emphasized the expo as a continuation of Gujarat's legacy as a forward-thinking, policy-driven state, owing much of its success to events like the Vibrant Summit initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Gujarat's strategic economic impact is significant, contributing substantial percentages to India's GDP, industrial output, and exports. Expected to draw over 50,000 visitors and featuring 610 exhibitors, the expo showcases Gujarat's readiness to take its vision for 2047 onto the global stage, promoting an 'earning well - living well' ethos.
