Gadkari reviews quality, maintenance progress of road projects in Odisha

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday reviewed the quality and maintenance progress of road projects in Odisha, based on the feedback received through media and social media. According to an official statement, during the review, the Road Transport and Highways Minister emphasised the need for targeted interventions on critical stretches, faster execution, and strict adherence to quality benchmarks to ensure long-term asset performance. He also directed officials to ensure advance preparedness for the monsoon season, including effective drainage management, slope protection, and responsive mechanisms to maintain road safety and uninterrupted traffic movement, the statement added.
