Inflation's Flame: The Heat on Common People Post-Elections
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari criticizes the Union government for rising LPG prices post-elections, impacting common citizens. Promised relief from inflation hasn't materialized, with commercial gas price hikes affecting businesses. Patwari blames the ruling party for inflation and economic hardships, promising continued advocacy for citizens.
Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari took aim at the Union government on Friday over soaring LPG prices, alleging that the common people are bearing the brunt of relentless inflation post-elections.
At a press conference, Patwari accused the government of failing to honor election promises to curb inflation, as essential commodity prices escalate. Since February, commercial gas cylinder prices have surged, increasing operational costs for hospitality sectors and impacting consumers, he stated.
Patwari further criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government for the economic woes affecting household budgets, particularly for the poor and middle class, citing inflation, unemployment, and financial challenges.
