Hemant Soren's Plea for Timely Trains on the Chandil-Tata Rail Section

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed concern over persistent delays of passenger trains on the Chandil-Tatanagar rail line. Soren urged Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to prioritize passenger over freight trains and complete pending infrastructure projects to address commuters' issues in the South Eastern Railway's Chakradharpur division.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday voiced his dissatisfaction regarding the ongoing delays of passenger trains in the Chandil-Tatanagar section. He called on Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to take immediate steps to resolve the issue, emphasizing the need to prioritize passenger trains over freight services.

Soren highlighted that for two years, passenger trains have faced consistent delays, while freight trains have operated smoothly on the same track. This situation is affecting workers, students, and professionals who rely on these trains for daily commutes.

With demands for infrastructure improvements, Soren stressed that the convenience and dignity of Jharkhand's rail passengers should not be compromised, insisting on completing railway projects in a timely manner.
