Revamping Maharashtra's Highways: Gadkari's Vision for Connectivity
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari reviewed several key highway projects to improve connectivity in Maharashtra. Discussions included upgrading multiple corridors like Nagpur-Bhandara and Taloda-Burhanpur, and nine State BOT projects. The focus is to accelerate planning and execution, boosting regional economic development.
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, took a crucial step towards enhancing road infrastructure in Maharashtra by reviewing several proposed highway projects on Monday.
The meeting in New Delhi covered six-laning the Nagpur–Bhandara section and four-laning of key corridors like Taloda–Burhanpur, among others. Nine State BOT projects stretching a total of 527 km were also discussed.
Emphasizing the importance of fast-tracking these projects, the discussions aimed to bolster road connectivity and fuel economic development in the region.
