Highway Havoc: Double-Decker Crash Leaves Dozens Injured

A double-decker bus collided with a truck on the Ganga Expressway near Chandoi village in Budaun district on Tuesday, resulting in 27 injuries, police reported.
The bus, en route from Ludhiana to Bangarmau, crashed potentially due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel, according to Sambhal Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tarun Pathak. Injured passengers were taken to the Community Health Centre and further to district hospitals for more serious cases.
Passenger Rama Devi mentioned an estimated 50 people were on board during the collision, and police are investigating the incident further, considering its proximity to the Budaun and Sambhal district border.
