SRF Ltd Announces Major Expansion with Rs 2,300 Crore Investment in Odisha Plant
SRF Ltd reported an 11% rise in net profit for Q4, with plans to invest Rs 2,300 crore in a new plant in Odisha to produce fourth-generation refrigerants. The total income for fiscal year 2025-26 increased significantly. The company's diversified portfolio includes a focus on fluorochemicals and integrated fluorochemical value chains.
SRF Ltd, a leading chemical firm, has reported an 11% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 582.02 crore for the quarter ending March. The firm also plans a strategic investment of Rs 2,300 crore to establish a new plant in Odisha.
The company's total income for the January-March quarter rose to Rs 4,640.07 crore, up from Rs 4,347.83 crore in the previous year. For the entire fiscal year of 2025-26, SRF registered a 47% rise in profit to Rs 1,835.18 crore, with total income growing significantly.
This investment aims to bolster SRF's position in the next-generation refrigerants sector, with a focus on Hydrofluoroolefins and Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride production. The project is expected to conclude by February 2028, marking a major milestone for the firm's fluorochemical ambitions.
