In a tragic event in Sultanpur district, two individuals lost their lives and three others were seriously injured following a head-on collision between two motorcycles, police confirmed.
The accident transpired on the canal embankment road, near Poore Chandrika Mishra, within the Baldirai police jurisdiction. One victim was a rider, while the other was an elderly pillion passenger.
Eyewitnesses reported a severe impact, with local residents promptly alerting emergency services. The injured have been hospitalized; negligence and helmet non-use are suspected causes, according to Station House Officer Mahendra Pratap Singh.
