"From May 2 to 5, about 16,349 passengers experienced the service firsthand, with the occupancy rate averaging approximately 82%," officials noted, adding that daily passenger numbers steadily climbed.

On May 4, occupancy was 82% with 4,680 passengers across two train pairs, spiking to 96% on May 5 when a single pair operated due to the weekly schedule. This growth hints at tourists and pilgrims favoring Vande Bharat over conventional options, thanks to its world-class features and ride comfort, officials revealed. Inspections by Jammu division authorities ensure high service standards, remarks Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal. This service signifies ongoing Indian Railways modernization, he added, expressing pride in the occupancy surge and passenger satisfaction, anticipating near full occupancy as tourism season peaks.
