Indian Companies Pledge Over $1.1 Billion in US Investments
Indian firms have announced investments worth USD 1.1 billion at the SelectUSA Investment Summit, focusing on aerospace, defence, energy, and AI sectors. These investments aim to create 1,500 jobs in the US. Notable investments include USD 900 million from Abhyuday Group and USD 100 million from Sterlite Technologies Limited.
Indian companies have unveiled plans to invest more than USD 1.1 billion in the United States, targeting key sectors like aerospace, defence, energy, and artificial intelligence. The announcement came during the SelectUSA Investment Summit held in National Harbour, Maryland.
The investments are expected to generate approximately 1,500 jobs across various American states. Among the major contributors, the Abhyuday Group leads with a commitment of USD 900 million, aiming to establish manufacturing hubs in five states.
Additionally, Mumbai-based Sterlite Technologies Limited will invest up to USD 100 million to create a new greenfield factory for connectivity solutions. Other companies like PR Jindal Group, Jivo Wellness Group, and TechDome Solutions have also pledged significant amounts to bolster their presence in the US.
