Waaree Renewable Technologies Expands its Reach with Major Acquisition

Waaree Renewable Technologies has announced an agreement to acquire a 55% stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt Ltd for Rs 1,225 crore. The acquisition process, originally anticipated to conclude by April 2026, is expected to be completed by June 2026 due to procedural requirements.

Waaree Renewable Technologies declared on Thursday its strategic move to acquire a 55% stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt Ltd, reaching a deal valued at Rs 1,225 crore.

The definitive agreements include a Shareholders Agreement and a Share Purchase and Subscription Agreement as part of the acquisition process. Originally set for completion by April 2026, procedural requirements have pushed the expected completion to June 15, 2026.

This acquisition will result in Waaree Renewable Technologies holding a majority stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt Ltd, thus making it a subsidiary.
