Chhattisgarh Drives Toward a Greener Future with EV Focus
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced a reduction in his convoy size and a focus on electric vehicles, following Prime Minister Modi's call for fuel conservation amid global crises. Sai urges government officials to use resources wisely and plans to gradually transition government vehicles to electric.
In an effort to conserve resources, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has decided to reduce the size of his official convoy. He emphasized on the importance of transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs), echoing Prime Minister Modi's call for austerity amid the global energy crises.
Chief Minister Sai has urged other state officials to also practice restraint in the use of government resources. This initiative aligns with the broader goal to reduce reliance on petrol and diesel, as the conflict in West Asia impacts economies worldwide, including India.
Looking to make a significant impact, Sai announced plans to convert all government vehicles to electric in a phased manner. He also encouraged citizens to embrace public transportation and carpooling, aiming to transform fuel conservation into a people's movement with a 'Nation First' spirit.
