Bharti Airtel has announced a 33.5% drop in consolidated net profit for the January-March quarter of FY26, totaling Rs 7,325 crore. This is a noteworthy decline compared to the Rs 11,021.8 crore recorded during the same period last year.

Despite the profit decline, Airtel's revenue surged significantly by 15.6%, reaching Rs 55,383.2 crore compared to Rs 47,876.2 crore a year prior. The company's robust revenue performance stemmed from a 7.7% increase in India revenue, driven by greater realisations and a growing customer base.

Highlights of the fiscal year include achieving a 650 million customer milestone, launching a sovereign cloud, receiving RBI approval to start a lending business, and expanding data centers. Such strides illustrate Airtel's fortified market presence, as stated by Executive Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal.
