A Bihar Police officer died after his motorcycle collided with a school bus in Bhojpur district on Monday, a senior officer said.
The accident took place near Tapeshwar Singh Indu Mahila College in Arrah town around 6.30 am.
The deceased has been identified as Kumar Mukul Anand, a resident of the Aayar police station area. He served as an ASI in the special branch of the Bihar Police.
Anand was on the way to his office in Patna when his motorcycle collided with a school bus on its side. Traffic Police rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead, the officer said.
Arrah Traffic SHO Nagendra Ram said the bus has been seized, but the driver is absconding.
