During a visit to Beijing, German Economy Minister Katherina Reiche stressed the dual importance of competition and cooperation in fostering modern economic relationships.

Speaking to Chinese counterparts, Reiche highlighted that while German firms embrace competition, it should yield mutual benefits. Germany values its crucial economic ties with China.

With a trade volume of 250 billion euros, China remains Germany's top trading partner. Reiche also addressed the necessity of reliable access to critical minerals for German industries.
