Mohan Charan Majhi, Odisha's Chief Minister, confidently announced plans for the JSW integrated steel plant near Paradip to commence operations by 2029. He highlighted the project's significance for the state's industrial growth.
The 13.2 MTPA facility, located at Dhinkia, will involve an initial Rs 65,000 crore investment with prospects for expansion. It also includes a 900 MW power plant, cement unit, and dedicated jetty, embedding JSW's vision for local economic transformation.
