Truck Accident Claims Two Lives in Jammu-Srinagar Highway Gorge

In Jammu and Kashmir, a truck accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway resulted in two fatalities after the vehicle plunged into a gorge and ignited. Rescue efforts by local authorities were carried out promptly, but both victims were found deceased in the charred remains.

A tragic accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway led to the deaths of two individuals when a truck fell into a deep gorge and burst into flames in the Ramban district on Saturday.

The mishap occurred near Gangroo in the Ramsoo area as the limestone-laden truck traveled from Jammu to Srinagar. The driver lost control, resulting in the truck's plunge into the gorge. Despite quick response from local police, Quick Response Teams, CRPF, and Fire Services, the vehicle was consumed by fire, with both occupants found deceased inside.
