Corporate Affairs Ministry Approves Mahindra-Manulife Insurance Venture

Mahindra and Manulife's insurance joint venture now officially recognized by India's Corporate Affairs Ministry. The collaboration will blend Mahindra's Indian market presence with Manulife's global insurance expertise to create a digitally-driven insurer aimed at bridging India's protection gap.

The newly formed insurance collaboration between Mahindra and Manulife has been officially registered following the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' approval. This marks the establishment of Mahindra Manulife Insurance Ltd (MMIL).

This venture aims to harness Mahindra's robust Indian market presence with Manulife's extensive international experience to forge a customer-centric, digitally-forward life insurer. Focusing on safeguarding policyholders, MMIL plans to deliver comprehensive financial solutions, particularly targeting rural and semi-urban areas while providing advanced protection for urban customers.
