Women are increasingly becoming the driving force of India's economy, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announcing that over 3 crore women-led enterprises are registered on the Udyam Portal. She highlighted achievements under initiatives like the PM Mudra Yojana, through which loans exceeding Rs 16 lakh crore have been disbursed, significantly advancing women-led development nationwide.

According to recent data, over 32 crore women have gained access to formal banking through the PM Jan Dhan Yojana, and women's credit presence is expanding, with loans predicted to hit Rs 76 lakh crore by 2025, up from Rs 16 lakh crore in 2015. These financial strides furnish women with greater avenues for credit, savings, and opportunities, thereby empowering their role in shaping India's future.

The momentum continues, with more than 10 crore rural women participating in self-help groups and over 43 lakh female students engaged in STEM programs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication to women-led development manifests in these achievements, connecting millions of rural women, registering numerous women-led businesses, and ensuring female representation in nearly half of recognized startups.

In a series of tweets, PM Modi emphasized that the past twelve years have seen significant progress under the NDA Government, driven by inclusive policies that place women at the forefront of various sectors, from entrepreneurship and education to governance and science.

The government's efforts emphasize dignity, opportunity, and empowerment, creating an environment where women have the tools to fulfill their potential and drive national progress.
