IT services major HCL Technologies on Wednesday said it has set up a new delivery centre in Hamilton, New Zealand. HCL Technologies' first delivery centre in New Zealand will support global customers and partners and will also provide access to the latest IT services and digital business technologies that will drive innovation and customer centricity through design thinking, blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud and artificial intelligence, a statement said.

The delivery centre will also enable HCL Technologies to support skills development within the Hamilton region, it added. * * * *

Infosys expands partnership with Google Cloud * IT services major Infosys on Wednesday said it has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to become a cloud managed service provider (MSP).

As a qualified MSP, Infosys will offer clients full application lifecycle services with its deep cloud and data analytics expertise, a statement said. This will include consulting, assessment, migration, optimisation and support services for enterprises looking to optimise their workloads on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), it added.

As a Google Cloud MSP, Infosys will offer industry-specific solutions on GCP for healthcare, financial services, insurance, telecom and retail industries.

* * * * Synechron sets up new facilities in Bengaluru, Pune

* Synechron Inc, a digital consulting firm for financial services, on Wednesday said it has set up a new facility in Bengaluru that can accommodate over 2,000 employees. This facility is in addition to its Financial Innovation Labs (FinLabs) and Offshore Development Centres (ODCs), a statement said.

In India, the company has offices in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai. This expansion will be followed by the inauguration of its seventh facility in India at Kharadi, Pune, in the coming week. The Kharadi location will be Synechron's second in Pune and will seat 170 employees, the statement said.
