China Jan-Sept FDI up 6.5% y/y in yuan terms

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in China rose 6.5% from a year earlier to 683.21 billion yuan ($96.27 billion) in the first nine months of the year, the commerce ministry said on Thursday.

In September, FDI into China grew 3.8% from a year earlier to 79.18 billion yuan, the ministry said. ($1 = 7.0970 Chinese yuan renminbi)
