L&T and NICMAR University Partner to Launch Specialized MTech Programs

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has signed an agreement with NICMAR University to offer MTech programs in construction technology and management, and infrastructure project management starting from the academic year 2024-25. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping postgraduate students with practical skills and industry exposure.

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing education in specialised fields, Indian multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has teamed up with NICMAR University to launch MTech programs in construction technology and management, as well as infrastructure project management. The programs are set to commence in the academic year 2024-25 at NICMAR's Pune campus.

This collaboration, facilitated by L&T EduTech, seeks to address the growing demand for skilled professionals by providing comprehensive learning and assessment solutions. The two-year MTech programs will offer hands-on training and expose students to industry dynamics, thereby enhancing their employability, L&T said in a statement.

''Preparing postgraduate students with practical skills and real-world industry exposure is crucial for bridging the existing gap between academia and industry,'' the statement added.
