In a recent development, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has categorically denied allegations of a paper leak in the NEET-UG exam. Pradhan emphasized that there is no evidence to support such claims, assuring that the government is committed to ensuring fairness for all students.

On June 4, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG). Addressing the press, Pradhan highlighted that the allegations of corruption within the NTA are baseless. 'It is a very credible body, conducting exams for over 50 lakh school students annually, along with various higher education examinations,' he said.

Meanwhile, Pradhan's comments came as the NTA informed the Supreme Court about its decision to cancel the previously awarded grace marks to 1,563 candidates. These students will have the option to retake the test on June 23. The results of the re-test will be declared on June 30, with counseling for admissions commencing on July 6.
