CII Launches VET by EHL Swiss Professional Diploma for Hospitality Students
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has launched an 18-month VET by EHL Swiss Professional Diploma programme in collaboration with EHL Hospitality Business School and Hyatt Hotels, targeting Class 12 graduates. This initiative aims to fill the skill gap in the hospitality sector, offering training, assured job placements, and a global alumni network.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has introduced an 18-month VET by EHL Swiss Professional Diploma programme. This initiative marks a significant step toward skill development in India's burgeoning hospitality industry.
The programme, launched in partnership with EHL Hospitality Business School and Hyatt Hotels, will deliver premium training at Hyatt properties in Delhi NCR and Lucknow. The curriculum targets students who have completed their Class 12 education, providing them with hands-on education from industry experts.
Successful completion of the course guarantees job placements, creating a promising pathway for the youth. Sunjae Sharma, Managing Director for India & Southwest Asia at Hyatt Hotels, emphasized the program's potential in preparing students to excel in the competitive hospitality sector. The program's structure is based on the Swiss Competency Framework, promising graduates global mobility and career progression, said Aman Aditya Sachdev, Director & Regional Head at EHL for South Asia, Middle East & Myanmar.
