NTT DATA and Akshaya Patra Launch Innovative Government School in Bangalore

NTT DATA, along with The Akshaya Patra Foundation, inaugurated a new government school in Lakshmipura, Bangalore. The event highlighted their commitment to improving education and nutrition for students. The school features modern amenities and sustainable practices, aiming to benefit 241 students and set a benchmark for future projects.

NTT DATA, a leading global IT services firm, has partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to inaugurate a state-of-the-art government school in Lakshmipura, Bangalore. The facility aims to provide enhanced learning environments and comprehensive nutrition programs for students.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Chief Guest Shri S. Muniraju, Dasarahalli Assembly Constituency MLA; Guest of Honor Shri Vijay Bharadwaj, former Indian cricketer; and senior executives from both organizations. Dilip Kumar, Chief Digital Officer of NTT DATA, emphasized the role of education in unlocking opportunities for youth.

The new school features a circular structure for energy efficiency, a computer lab, a well-stocked library, and a kitchen garden. It serves 241 students, offering them a nurturing environment focused on holistic growth. The project aligns with NTT DATA’s sustainability goals and sets a new standard for educational infrastructure.
