Delhi University Raises Passing Criteria for Promotion to Next Year

Delhi University has increased the passing criteria for promotion to the next academic year from 50% to 63% for undergraduate students. This adjustment aims to address the shortcomings in implementing the National Education Policy 2022. Exceptions may be granted for students involved in extracurricular activities, subject to approval.

Undergraduate students at DU will now need to achieve a combined 63% in their first and second semesters to advance.

Exceptions may be made for students participating in sports, extracurricular activities, NCC, and NSS, pending college authority approval.
