A Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) student has been denied admission to the university's hostel after accusations of frightening other students by acting possessed.
The vice chancellor, Renu Jain, indicated that the student faced multiple charges of indiscipline, including making scary faces and throwing mustard seeds at others, creating an atmosphere of fear.
Following an investigation, the DAVV administration has decided not to allow the student to stay in the hostel during the current academic session.
