Patna District to Scrutinize Coaching Centres After Delhi Tragedy

Following the unfortunate deaths of three civil services aspirants in Delhi, the Patna district administration has decided to scrutinize all coaching centres. The aim is to ensure compliance with norms, avoiding any potential mishaps in the future. The initiative targets over 300 centres, with inspections to be completed within 15 days.

Patna district administration has initiated stringent checks on coaching centres following the death of three civil services aspirants at a Delhi centre. This measure aims to ensure compliance with local norms and prevent any mishaps in the future.

“Keeping Delhi’s incident in mind, the district administration in Patna has directed officials concerned of all sub-divisions to verify documents of all coaching centres. The documents of the coaching centres that need to be verified include permission and other no-objection certificates from the authorities,” Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh told PTI on Monday.

The Patna Municipal Corporation is also conducting a drive to verify if coaching centres comply with building regulations. Authorities aim to complete this process within 15 days, focusing on densely populated areas first.
