NEET-UG 2024 Counselling to Begin Early August

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 counselling is set to commence on August 14. Registration may start in the first week of August, with approximately 1.10 lakh MBBS seats and 21,000 BDS seats up for allocation across India.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2024 counselling is slated to begin on August 14, per an MCC notice on Monday.

Registration for the counselling process is likely to start in the first week of August, Dr. B Srinivas, Secretary of the National Medical Commission (NMC), confirmed.

Around 1.10 lakh MBBS seats and 21,000 BDS seats in approximately 710 medical colleges will be available. Additionally, Ayush and nursing seats will also be allocated during the counselling session.

The MCC will manage counselling for the 15 per cent all-India Quota seats, 100 per cent seats of all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, all central university seats, and 100 per cent deemed university seats.

Earlier, the National Testing Agency announced the final results of the NEET-UG examination following a Supreme Court order that resolved multiple petitions alleging irregularities in the exam.
