Chandigarh University has taken a pioneering step in business education by launching an MBA in Applied Finance in collaboration with global financial advisory giant PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). This program aims to provide aspiring business students with essential exposure to real-world business practices.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. GS Brar, Registrar of Chandigarh University, and Sanjeev Parkar, Senior Director HCM of PwC, at the university campus. The event was attended by notable figures including Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Devinder Singh, Prof. (Dr.) Nilesh Arora, Director of the University School of Business, and Krishnan Ravindran, Director at PwC India.

This unique collaboration introduces an advanced curriculum covering Financial Modelling, Forecasting, Assurance, Auditing, and Fintech. It was launched during the Global Finance Conclave on 'India's Financial Renaissance: Shaping the Future with Innovation and Excellence'. The initiative also includes the inauguration of the 'Centre of Excellence: The Finovation Hub', aimed at promoting financial innovation and inclusion on a global scale.
